HELLO 2012!!

2011 ended up too soon! it ran really fast...! 2011 brings many memories, good and bad, also have ups and downs... but yeah, that's life! we should go through with it...

In 2011, I broke up with my 2-years-boyfriend, that's hurt.. really hurt! But maybe that's the best way for both of us. If we still together, maybe something worst than this will happen later. So i'm still thankful for this. Im not mad at him.. like, at all... just be grateful for him.. Thanks for (almost) 2 wonderful years with me :)

In 2011, I finally 'arrived' in the world where I supposed to work at. Yes, currently I'm working both as writer and stylist, very exciting! but still learning and learning everyday...

In 2011, I GAINED MY WEIGHT! haha.. But oke lah.. pertanda saya makmur! haha

Happy Eid Fitr to all of you, Minal Aidzin Wal Faidzin.. Sorry im kinda late to say this..

Alhamdulillah.. Ramadhan tahun ini menjadi Ramadhan yang sangat berkesan buat saya. Kenapa? Karena dikabulkan sudah doa saya (dan keluarga) untuk menjalani ibadah umrah sekaligus berpuasa di tanah suci, Mekkah selama dua minggu.

Awalnya, saya mengira menjalankan ibadah puasa di Tanah Suci adalah sesuatu yang berat, karena cuaca yang cukup ekstrim (kisaran 50’C setiap harinya), waktu berpuasa yang agak lebih panjang (berbuka puasa sekitar pukul 7 malam) dan tentunya makanan yang kurang sesuai dengan lidah (no kolak!) hehehe..

Namun setelah dijalani rasanya tidak seperti yang saya kira. Menjalankan ibadah puasa di Mekkah rasanya menjadi lebih khusyuk dan nikmat. Kalau di Indonesia, makin dekat dengan Lebaran… orang-orang semakin ‘tidak fokus’ dengan ibadahnya dan lebih memikirkan mudik beserta baju lebaran.. Kalau di Mekkah orang semakin ‘NGOTOT dan BERLOMBA-LOMBA mengejar pahala!’ jadinya mau gak mau dong kita jadi terbawa suasana dan ga mau kalah kenceng-kencengan ibadah hehe…

Dan yang paling jauh berbeda adalah SAF SHALAT TARAWIH.. yang di Jakarta makin hari makin menyusut.. sedangkan disana makin akhir (apalagi mendekati malam 27) Saf Tarawih makin meluber sampai ke dalam MALL! Bayangin ajaa Mall di Zam-Zam Tower (Yang luasss – kurang lebih sebesar Senayan City lah) itu bener – bener penuh sama orang yang shalat Tarawih.. Yak! Ini pertama kali saya shalat jamaah di MALL (ini baru bisa disebut ANAK MALL SEJATI! Haha) dan hebatnya disana.. hampir Mall disekitar Masjidil Haram memang sudah dipersiapkan untuk itu: Pattern lantai yang arahnya sesuai dengan kiblat dan speaker yang nyambung dengan Masjid, sehingga sudah pasti terdengar jelas suara imam nya.

Saat itu untuk masuk ke Masjidil Haram aja susahnya minta ampun, minimal harus naro sajadah 2 jam sebelum waktu adzan.. ditambah dengan ramai nya orang yang itikaf + badan orang Indonesia seperti saya yang mini jadi agak sulit rasanya mencari tempat yang nyaman… jadi yaa sudah.. kadang kita tarawih di Mesjid, Pelataran Mesjid dan di Mall.. tergantung situasi dan kondisi hehe…

Pada malam 27, merupakan malam puncak Ramadhan… hampir sebanyak 6 juta orang dari berbagai Negara, suku, bahasa dan warna kulit tumplek BLEK! Disitu… selain takut hilang karena badan mini saya ini hehehe, ada perasaan lain yang benar-benar menjalari pikiran dan perasaan saya…

Ya Allah, sebanyak ini yaa orang menangis, berdoa, memuja Mu… namun tak pernah sedikit pun Engkau salah mengerti dan dengan pasti mengetahui isi hati kami… dan menyadari BANYAK SEKALI orang yang BERIBADAH JAUUUUUH LEBIH BAIK dari saya, tapi kadang saya masih merasa saya ‘beribadah dan beragama lebih baik dari si ini atau si itu’ astagfirullah.. saat itu rasanya bener-bener takut… Takut Allah tidak memilih saya sebagai hamba terpilih untuk tinggal di Surga Nya dan bertemu melihat Nya… karena orang-orang di sekitar saya menangis lebih keras, berdoa lebih banyak serta tidak ada hentinya berzikir dan tidak ada lelahnya bertawaf melafalkan namaMu. Perjalanan Umrah kali ini, memang benar-benar berbeda dari biasanya.. Insya Allah saya bisa lebih baik beribadah dan terus istiqomah berada di jalan Mu.. Amin…

Lalu kami menjalani Shalat Ied pada tanggal 30 September… Pada hari tersebut, Masjidil Haram sudah tidak terlalu ramai seperti tanggal 27, karena banyak orang sudah kembali ke Negara masing-masing… Setelah shalat Subuh, kami tidak pulang tapi menunggu Shalat Ied… ternyata kebiasaan disana, sambil menunggu shalat Ied, para anak muda berkeliling membagikan makanan kecil seperti kurma, permen, kue, buah maupun minuman kaleng. Walaupun Lebaran tanpa keluarga besar dan TANPA KETUPAT, namun senang sekali rasanya.. seperti berlebaran dengan banyak keluarga dari berbagai Negara. Alhamdulillah.. Terima Kasih ya Allah telah mengundang kami kesana…

Hi! How are you? Its more than a week, I postponed the new post :p Well, yesterday i just got from Pengajian Hijabers Community (i'm pretty sure, you guys really familiar with this community). The meeting was meaningful - Bunda Juanda (the speaker) shared new knowledge about being woman, love yourself inside and out also about finding a role model nowadays, since we realize that media feed us tooooo much bad role models.

Actually it was my first time to met them, they were fun and so humble, but maybe there are a lot of new members, so at the beginning we're so quiet and kaku (what's kaku in english by the way?) well.. Hope, we could met again, share more knowledge both islamic matters and fashion updates also :p alright then, see yaa...

By the way, as you can see below, the girls was awesomely chic!

Who inspired you so that your blog becoming like now?
I've inspired by many things, not only 'who' but all things that i've seen and heard eventually become my inspiration. But yeah, there's several bloggers who inspired me to do this, like SeaofShoes, Garancedore, Sartorialist and JakAndJill. They're taking fabulous picture and writing in very idealist-fashionista way. But lately, i found many indonesian bloggers too (especially muslimah bloggers) they're giving me very inspiring perception about hijabi fashion. Thank you.

Its almost 2 years since i left Germany. There's a looot of memories there, happy and sad things for sure. and today, randomly I really really wannaaaaa eat German dishes.. But its kinda hard to find German Restaurant here, yes there is.. but the taste were verrry different. So, to heal my deutsch appetite, im gonna list down my favorite foods :)CURRYWURST! this is very common food there, you can found it everywhere. its cheap and extremely yummy! But for muslim, we have to be careful, since some of them are contains of pork ingredient. so ask before you buy!

APFEL STRUDLE. I've tried to bake this at home today. yaaa not bad! but.. jauh dari rasa aslinya :p

DONNER TELLER! I challenge you to eat thissss alone haha. Big portion, my friends and I always share this food while we're hang out :)

HERRING SALAT. If you hate Sashimi. Dont ever think to eat this, you gonna blew up just like my mom :D but I looooove this kind of salat, fresssh...

1. my passion is TALKING! weird haha i dont know where is it come from.. but since im getting older now, so i just want to utilize this thing for somethin' important like doing business probably haha minimize gossiping

the biggest newss ever = I'M GRADUATED! i'm the bachelor of art yuhuuu... Alhamdulillah..and im soooo ready to work!! somebody wants to hire me? hehehh.. The other news; i'm soo glad to see two of my big sisters are married. Finally... marry their prince charming and now living happily ever after, while im waiting to become aunty! haha but actually i am, since one of my best friend got a super-baby-boy! OMG, we're getting old too!

About my holiday, i spend 4 days in singapore to get a bit fresh air and also meet my boyfie :) it's singapore great sale actually, but i have no mood at all, dunno why?! soo, i still have no new cool outfit to show you. We had a good times at Universal Studio, although several rides are still under construction, but yeah it's not that bad.. okay, im stuck.. dont know what to say.. just enjoy the photos!

i've read this article from ELLE and thought that i need to put on my blog, so i can share with you how to get healthy body (not skinny) and reminds me tooo hehe.. happy reading!

get used to SLEEP 7 - 8 hours per day
DETOX WITH JUICE and should be fresh from the real fruits or vegetables, please avoid 'jus dalam kemasan' or instant or whatsoever that you usually found at supermarket. I already do it routinely like 3 times a week. Trust me you really really need to chase away the toxic from your body
SIT UP! SIT UP! to flatten up your tummy (no, dont ever think that i already successfully doing this 'thing' hehe) and perfectly do it! remember that 15 are better than 50 if you doing right BURN more CALORIES with COLD WATER after you've done workout
EXERCISE routinely, cardio will be soo great for your heart, pilates is strongly recommended to shape your body and yoga for your respiration. But my favorites are still cardio-ing and swimming :)
GREEN TEA, it helps control your cravings and raise your metabolism (4 cups per day for the perfect result)
PROTEIN is patent calories burner! why? because our body has to work hard to digest it, since protein stays longer in your stomach, you'll feel fuller and stop 'ngemil'
never ever skip BREAKFAST
eat more GREEN vegetables, the best are spinach, broccoli and asparagus

yeaay! today is our 9th month anniversary heheh :) Alhamdulillah.. we successfully going through this LDR thing 'til today... at the beginning, yeah its kinda difficult for us, the problems was arise like here and there, about this and that.. but we learn and learn from our mistakes.. by understanding each other and forgiveness also play important part here.. im actually not LOVE advisory nor consultant hehe but that's true.. sometimes when our boy/girlfriend made mistakes, we tends to argue it, fight and make things worse.. avoid it! it'll be better if we find out together how to handle the problems and evaluate the relationship to be better :) hehe dan jadilah curhat colongan... alright dear, i wish our relationship will getting stronger everyday :)

And there's another good news! last sunday, one of my bestfriend is officially married! we're so excited for it.. congratulations seruni :) im soo happy for you.. but the bad news, it's made us realize that we're growing older and older everyday, and not married yet hehehh

i've told you before, i have several wedding to go, some of them are my family and the other are friends of mine.. and the other-other were totally strangers haha like my dad relatives, daughter of my mom bestfriend and so on and so on.. im happy for them, butttt also it drives me crazy! haha more weddings means more dress need to be prepared duuh! and those pictures above, was taken last week. Last Saturday, i've to attend my cousin wedding. CIREBON CULINARY TRIP

last week my family and I had a short trip to Cirebon. Have you gone there? actually that wasn't my first trip, and I keep going back there.. means i love those city town, except the weather (so frikkin hot!). unfortunately, i only had 2 days there, but still fun. okaay here's the report!

First STOP! nasi jamblang, near Cirebon port.. everybody there know this place.. it thought this is the most popular place in cirebon hehe.. yeah the food was great and the price also.. but since the place was soooo tiny, its kinda uncomfortable to have a chitchat there.. so just eat, finish it then go!

Habiburrahman el shirazy, I never miss his book, even once… you name it! And I probably have it on my book shelf heheh. He’s my favorite author, selain cerita nya memang nyata bgt, dia juga pandai merangkai kata-kata, lalu menyisipkan beberapa ayat-ayat alquran serta pengetahuan dan sejarah mengenai islam, yang bikin semakin bermanfaat buat dibaca.

Salah satu buku yang baru ajaa selesai dibaca, yaitu bumi cinta. And I lovee the story! I thought it was the best of all. Setting yang diambil dalam buku ini adalah Negara Rusia. Ceritanya mengenai seorang yang alim bernama Muhammad Ayyas, ia melanjutkan studi nya Rusia, negara yang memiliki kebudayaan sangat berbeda dengan Negara kita. Diceritakan betapa banyaknya cobaan yang harus dihadapi Ayyas disana. Selain diskriminasi, permasalahan ibadah yg kadang menjadi sulit dilakukan hingga persoalan wanita! Apakah dia mampu melewati itu semua? Hehehe bacaa aja bukunya, trust me you’ll never regret it.

Sebenernya yang bikin semakin suka sama buku ini, mungkin karena gw pun pernah mengalami hal yang sama, tinggal di negeri orang, yang udah pasti godaan nya berlipat-lipat ganda. Okay, sedikit sharing yaa… Sebelum berangkat ke jerman, banyaaak bgt berita dari kanan kiri tentang diskriminasi dan beberapa hal ttg kehidupan bebas disana yang agak bikin down juga, apalagi sebagai cewe berjilab sempet mikir juga bakal banyak kejadian yg ga enak disana dan pastinyaa urusan ibadah pasti bakal semakin menurun intensitas nya.

Tapi setelah menjalani beberapa bulan disana, Alhamdulillah banget kejadian yg gw takutin, ga pernah terjadi sekali pun sama gw. Banyak yang bilang gw disana bakalan disinisin, tapi kenyataannya justru disana banyak banget orang-orang yg nyapa gw, dengan sangat amat ramah setiap gw pergi dan pulang kerja. Bahkan keluarga angkat gw dan temen-temen mereka ada beberapa yang nanya dan penasaran banget dengan ‘apa itu islam’. Walaupun dengan bahasa jerman yg pas pas an tapi gw coba untuk ngejelasin dan memberi persepsi bahwa islam yg sebenarnya adalah agama yg indah, agama yg cinta damai.

Dengan diterimanya gw dengan sangat amat baik disana, bener-bener bikin bersyukur banget, alhamdulillah masih dilindungi sm Allah dari hal-hal yg gw takutin. Dan yaa mungkin, walaupun awalnya banyak denger hal yg ga enak, tp gw mencoba untuk selalu optimis dan berfikir positif ditambah niat yg ikhlas lillahi taa‘la.. dan yaa itu terbukti.

Untuk hal ibadah mungkin awal-awalnya agak sulit, tapi yaa balik lagi karena niat nya baik, yaa alhamdulillah pasti ada ajaa kemudahan yg Allah kasih, yaa misalnya disaat 10 menit lagi habis waktu sholat ashar dan panik banget cari tempat sholat, tiba-tiba ada aja orang turki yg nawarin sholat di kios nya, Subhanallah.. dan untuk masalah pergaulan, alhamdulillah ga ada masalah sama sekali, cukup dijelasin sekali, temen-temen gw disana pun ngerti untuk ga nawarin gw alcohol, makanan yg ga halal ataupun pergi ke tempat hiburan malam.

Jadi buat kamu, misalnya ada yg mau pergi ke negeri orang untuk sekolah atau pun kerja. Gak usah takut.. asal niat kita benar dan selalu optimis, insya Allah selalu dimudahkan dan dijauhin dari hal-hal yang buruk. Ditambah lagi, dengan banyaknya pergi ke tempat-tempat yang berbeda membuat wawasan kita semakin luas dan tentunya semakin sering melihat kebesaran-kebesaran Allah yg tersebar di seluruh penjuru dunia. Jadi jangan terlalu takut dan berfikir negatif.. dan jangan lupa Bismillah :) tp ngomong-ngomong ini awalnya Cuma pengen recap buku ko jd curhat yaaa hehe, gpp deh semoga bermanfaat yaaa

Last night i attended one of MAP fashion week's show, and i've got LOEWE, sass and bide, tsubi and diesel hosted by sonia wibisono and dewe. i really enjoyed the show! made me almost forgot to take some pictures for you haha... actually im so sorry for the photo quality, i still have to learn how to catch moving object! my baaddd.. and here's some of the loewe's bag collection for spring.

alhamdulillah, hari minggu kemarin dikasih kesempatan lagi untuk sedikit berbagi dengan ade - ade kita di yayasan tunas bangsa. Selain aku bisa sekalian kumpul bareng temen dan saudara, juga seneng banget bisa main main sm anak kecil yang lucu-lucu :) and they were addicted to camera just like mee hehe!

that's a several photos that able to taken haha because they didnt stop movin around and run everywhere haha soo its kinda difficult! but basically, they were veryyy sweet and i love them! untuk yayasan ini sebagian besar anak - anaknya tidak memiliki cacat fisik atau jiwa, sehingga mereka bebas bermain dengan kita.

alhamdulillah kak dude bisa nyempetin dateng juga, sebagai perwakilan dari kita semua :)

Insya Allah, bulan bulan ke depan bisa ngadain acara seperti ini lagi :) karena selain seneng ketemu anak yang lucu - lucu, bikin kita selalu inget dan inget lagi bahwa kita jangan pernah lupa bersyukur bahwa kita jauh lebih beruntung karena punya ayah ibu yang sayang dan ada buat kita kapanpun kita butuh. okay girls, jangan lupa yaa buat sering-sering main ke panti asuhan, karena mereka akan sangat terhibur sekali dengan kedatangan kita, tanpa bawa apapun.. at least kita ajak mereka main, pasti mereka seneng bgt :)

hello girlss, im back! Thanks God, Alhamdulillah.. i passed my oral exam! yeaay! (terimakasih for all my readers buat doanyaa yaa hehe) soo now i can start to do my thesis :) but waaait... i think i need a short break, yeeepp i've 1 free-willy-week before go back to campus. And i thought, im gonna do many fun things, starts today haha...

dear my beloved readers, pleaseee wish me luck dan doakan saya :) on monday im gonna start to do my OFSE (oral final study examination) test... it will be like a 45 minutes speech / presentation (yeah its kinda 'too much minutes' speech actually) about what i've studied for 3 years at SGU.. like review all of my subjects aarrggh lame and it makes me nervous zzzz so yeah during this 2 weeks, im not sure that i able to post new things here.
